Humor: The 7 Habits of Highly Annoying Co-Workers

We've all had those co-workers with the annoying little habits that drive us up a wall.  Here's a list of the 7 most highly annoying habits (plus some honorable mention candidates).  Enjoy.

  1. LOUD TALKER-  This person is oblivious to how loud they are on the phone.  And they always seem to use their speaker phone too!  Double whammy.  The worst offender is the loud talker who has an office with a door... and won't close it!
  2. CELL PHONE RINGER LOVER-  It wouldn't be so bad if this person kept their phone on them and answered it immediately.  But it always seems this person leaves their phone unattended on their desk.  And then they get 10 phone calls.  Grrrrrr.  Keep it on you or use vibrate!
  3. NOISY EATER-  This person always seems to eat at their desk every day.  Sounds like a pig at the trough.  The 'coffee sipper' is in this category too.
  4. MUMBLER-  Excuse me?  What was that?  Could you repeat that?  Huh?  Soooooo frustrating.
  5. POTTY MOUTH-  While many people are fine letting an expletive fly every now and then, the habitual potty mouth loses big points in professionalism and self-control.
  6. HOVERER-  I've never met anyone who likes someone looking over their shoulder while they work.  Go away hovercraft!  I'll get back to you when I'm done.
  7. EAVESDROPPER-  This person loves to chime in and hijack the conversation.  Funny how these people don't get invited to lunch.
Honorable Mention:
  • FINGERNAIL QUEEN-  You can hear those nails on the keyboard a mile away.  Too bad you're only 10 feet away.  Fingernail queen can make nails on a chalkboard seem like a breath of fresh air.
  • GUM SNAPPER-  This one can send some people way off the deep end.
  • HEAVY WALKER-  This person loves to pound their heels into the floor when they walk.  Feels like a San Francisco earthquake when they walk by.  Be glad they don't live in the condo above you.
  • CAPTAIN HALITOSIS-  Why does it always seem like the person most in need of a breath mint is the person you need to meet with constantly!
